Beta-ray induced X-ray spectrometer

The amount of tritium retained on the surface and the depth profile of tritium can be non-destructively evaluated by measuring characteristic and/or bremsstrahlung X-rays which are induced by interactions between β-rays emitted from tritium atoms and constituent atoms of a material.
