Apparatus for thermal desorption experiments of hydrogen isotopes

A temperature-programmed desorption spectrum of tritium can be measured by using the present apparatus. It is equipped with both a conventional mass spectrometer and a high-resolution mass spectrometer which is able to split mass of He and D₂. Isothermal or isochronal heating is possible by using a temperature-programmed controller.
